Ready to get started? We've put together a guide to set up your first site below. If you have yet to purchase the Podcast Websites package, you can do so on our main site

Create a Podcast Website

Follow the steps below to create your Podcast Website.

Step 1: Sign Up For a Podcast Websites Hosting Package

Your first step is to sign up for a Podcast Websites hosting package. You can sign up (and find more information about the different package tiers) on our product page: Podcast Websites Hosting

Step 2: Sign in to Your New Website

Once you have a Podcast Websites account, we'll create a base website to get you started. Our websites are built with WordPress, a popular website builder.

Once the site creation is complete, we will send you an email with:

  • Login URL
  • Username
  • Password

Use the link and username/password to log in to your website editor. This website editor is called the "WordPress Admin Interface."

If you ever forget your login URL and can't locate the original email, you can instead follow these steps to find the link:

  1. Log in to your hosting account's Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
  2. Click WordPress in the left sidebar, then click List Sites
  3. To the right of your site, click Go to Admin Panel

This will return you to the WordPress login screen for your website.

Feel free to bookmark this link to easily return.

If you change your website domain (your website URL), then your login URL will also change.

Step 3: Install a Pair Podcast Exclusive Theme

Once you've logged in, it's time to create your new podcast website. Your very first step should be to pick a website design from one of our exclusive themes.

Website designs in WordPress are called "Themes."

Our exclusive themes are designed specifically for podcasts and work seamlessly with our hosting features, like our podcast episode importer.

In your WordPress admin interface, follow these steps to preview each theme:

  1. In the left sidebar, click Appearance
  2. Hover over the name of the theme you want to preview
  3. Click the Live Preview button

This will transport you to a page that shows you what your site looks like with this theme. Keep in mind that it may look a bit sparse since you haven't added any content yet.
  4. When you find the theme you like, click the Activate button (or Activate and Publish if you're in a Live Preview).

For a better understanding of each theme (and to see example images of what the themes can look like), see our exclusive theme guides:

Once you've picked your theme, it's time to link your podcast to your site!

Our Pair Podcast Import tool does all the hard work for you. All you need to do is supply the necessary information, then our tool will take care of the rest.

Plus, once linked, the Pair Podcast Import tool can automatically create new posts for each podcast episode.

See our Pair Podcast Importer article for specific instructions to set up.

Step 5: Design Your Site

Now it's time to design your site. The design process may differ based on what theme you picked, so we've put together a design guide for each theme. Visit them below for more details or start designing on your own:

  1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Editor
  2. In the left sidebar, hover over the Appearance tab
  3. Select Customizer from the drop-down

This will take you to the live website editor. You can enter information in the sidebar and watch the changes take effect on the live website preview. Be sure to click the Publish button to save any changes.
