If you have a WP Enthusiast, WP Professional, or Podcast Websites hosting account...

If you have a WP Enthusiast or WP Professional account, there are some additional features that make changing a WordPress account password simpler.

Resetting the Admin Password in the ACC

If you have access to the WP Enthusiast, WP Professional, or Podcast Websites ACC, you can change the WordPress site password directly from the ACC interface.

  1. Log in to the WP Enthusiast, WP Professional, or Podcast Websites ACC
  2. In the left sidebar, click WordPress, then click List Sites in the drop-down
  3. Click the Nickname of your site
  4. Click the Reset Password button

This will take you to a new screen that will have a new, randomly generated password you can use to log in to your account. Once you have used it, we recommend going into the WordPress admin panel and changing the password to something you will remember. See the Changing the Admin Password in the WordPress Admin Panel section for more instructions on how to do this.

If you do not have access or your account is not a WP Enthusiast or WP Professional account...

If you do not have access to the hosting account or your hosting account is not a WP Enthusiast, WP Professional, or Podcast Websites account,  you can change the password from the login page or the WordPress admin interface.
