Junk Mail Filtering: Accepted Email Addresses

WP Enthusiast and WP Professional hosting accounts can use this tutorial if the Email Add On has been enabled.

An accepted address list, also known as an allowlist, is a list of items that are automatically allowed into your inbox. You can create a list of accepted subjects and email addresses in your mailbox settings. See Junk Mail Filtering: Accepted Email Subjects

Choose the tutorial that reflects your ACC interface type:

If you are using the Legacy Interface:

  1. Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
  2. In the left sidebar, click on the Email tab
  3. In the drop-down, click the Manage Junk Email Filter Settings tab
  4. Under “Additional Junk Email Filtering Options,” click Add, Remove, or View Accepted Addresses

From this page, you can manage your accepted email addresses.

If you are using the New ACC Interface:

  1. Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
  2. On the hosting Dashboard page, find the “Account Email Settings” section
  3. Next to Junk Email Filter Settings, click the Edit button
  4. In the “Junk Filter Settings” section, click the More Junk Filtering Options button
  5. In the drop-down, click the Add, Remove, or View Accepted Addresses option

From this page, you can manage your accepted email addresses.

Add a Single Accepted Address

To add accepted addresses one at a time, use the fields in the “Add New” section.

Accepted AddressesAdd a single address to the accepted addresses list. 
Add addresses one at a time. Once you click the Add Accepted Addresses button, the address will appear in the “Manage List of Accepted Addresses” section. 
Comments (optional)Provide an optional comment to accompany the address. Comments will be shown in italics next to your accepted address in the “Manage list of Accepted Addresses” section.

Add Multiple Accepted Addresses

To add accepted Addresses in bulk, use the “Upload Accepted Addresses” section:

To upload in bulk, you must create a text file with the addresses. There should only be one entry per line. Once you upload the list, the specified email addresses will appear in the “Manage list of Accepted Addresses” section. 

Please note that the list must be saved as a text file before it is uploaded.
