How to Find Your Email’s Incoming and Outgoing Servers

WP Optimized hosting accounts can use this tutorial if the Email Add On has been enabled.

In order to set up your custom email address on an email client, you will need to know the email address’ incoming and outgoing servers.

Finding Your Email Server Information

Follow these instructions to find the email server information:

Choose the tutorial that reflects your ACC interface type:

If you are using the Legacy Interface:

  1. Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
  2. In the left sidebar, click E-Mail, then click E-Mail Settings in the drop-down
  3. Under “Mailbox Usage,” click Mailboxes currently configured
  4. Under “Mailbox Username,” click on the name of your custom email

The email's incoming and outgoing servers will be listed on this page next to Incoming Mail Server (IMAP/POP3) and Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP). Use this information to set up your email address on an email client.

If you are using the New ACC Interface:

  1. Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
  2. In the top navigation bar, click Email
  3. Next to Mailboxes currently configured, click the cog icon
  4. Find your mailbox under “Mailbox Username” and click its Edit button 

The email's incoming and outgoing servers will be listed on this page next to Incoming Mail Server (IMAP/POP3) and Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP). Use this information to set up your email address on an email client.
