Resetting Your Admin Password

If you want to reset the admin password, follow these steps:

Choose the tutorial that reflects your ACC interface type: 

• Legacy Interface
• New ACC Interface

If you are using the Legacy Interface:

1. Log in to your Managed WordPress or Podcast Websites account at my.pair.com
2. Click WordPress in the left sidebar, then click List Sites in the drop-down
3. Click the Nickname of your site
4. Click the Staging tab
5. In the bottom navbar, click Reset Staging Admin Password
6. It will ask you to confirm the reset. Click Reset Password
7. The new password will be displayed next to New Password

If you are using the New ACC Interface:

1. Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
2. In the top navigation bar, click WordPress 
3. Find your WordPress site and click its staging icon
4. In the bottom navbar, click Reset Staging Admin Password
5. It will ask you to confirm the reset. Click Reset Password
6. The new password will be displayed next to New Password

Take note of the password here. Once you navigate away from the tab, it will no longer be displayed.

Resetting HTTP Authentication Password

HTTP Authentication is an optional feature that password protects your staging site. If you have HTTP Authentication in place, you can reset its password from the staging site interface.

Choose the tutorial that reflects your ACC interface type: 

• Legacy Interface
• New ACC Interface

If you are using the Legacy Interface:

1. Log in to your Managed WordPress or Podcast Websites account at my.pair.com
2. In the left sidebar, click WordPress
3. In the drop-down, click Staging Site
4. Click the [Select Site] field, then select the staging site you would like to add HTTP Authentication to
5. Click the Manage Site: Staging button
6. Click the Modify Staging HTTP Auth Password button
7. Click the Reset Password button

If you are using the New ACC Interface:

1. Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
2. In the top navigation bar, click WordPress 
3. Find your WordPress site and click its staging icon
4. Click the Modify Staging HTTP Auth Password
5. Click the Reset Password button

A new password will be generated for you and displayed on the next screen. 

Take note of the password here. Once you navigate away from the tab, it will no longer be displayed.
