Requesting pairCDN

  1. Log into the Account Control Center
  2. Click “Add Ons
  3. Select “pairCDN
  4. Select the domain name you wish to use the pairCDN service with
  5. Enter your email address into the Webmaster address field

You will be contacted at the address entered in step 5 to confirm the
pairCDN set up configuration and to choose which hostname you want to point
to the pairCDN service.

IMPORTANT: You must wait for the pairCDN set up to be complete before
proceeding with activating the CDN in WordPress. Failure to do so can
result in the site not loading. After requesting pairCDN, you will be
contacted by pair Networks when the setup has finished.

Activating the pairCDN service in WordPress

Please note, usage of pairCDN with WordPress relies on the “W3 Total Cache”
plugin being installed. This is installed by default for the pair Networks
WordPress accounts. If that had been removed after installation, it will
need to be added back to the site first, then the following steps can be
used:

    1. Log in to the WordPress admin console
      (http://YourDomain.com/wp-admin/)
    2. Click “Plugins” on the left hand side of the screen
    3. Click “Settings” under the “W3 Total Cache” heading
    4. Scroll down to the “CDN” section
    5. Set “CDN Type” to “Generic Mirror
    6. Leave the “Enable” option turned off for now
    7. Click “Save all settings
    8. Click “CDN” from the menu on the left hand side of the screen
    9. Under “Configuration“, set “SSL Support” to “Disabled”
    10. For “Replace site’s hostname with” enter your pairCDN hostname
    11. Click “Test Mirror” and if that does not report “Passed“, do not
      proceed further
    12. If the mirror test passed, scroll down to “Advanced
    13. Check the box for “Disable CDN on SSL pages
    14. If you wish to disable pairCDN for admin logins, select that under the
Disable CDN for the following roles” option
    15. Click “Save all settings
    16. Under “Performance” on the left hand side of the screen, click
      General Settings
    17. Scroll down to CDN and click “Enable
    18. Click “Save all settings

The site now will begin to use the pairCDN service to speed up the page
loads.
