You may want to change your account’s passphrase in order to remove a user who had access to the old passphrase, or for security reasons. Whatever the case, if you want to change your support passphrase, you can do so from the billing interface.
Changing Your Support Passphrase
Follow these steps if you want to change your support passphrase:
Please note that once a passphrase has been changed, that specific passphrase cannot be reset to its original value. You can still revoke or generate a new passphrase, but the passphrase cannot be rolled back to previous passphrases.
- Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC)
- Click Billing in the left sidebar, then click Billing Summary in the drop-down
- Next to Support Passphrase, click the New Passphrase button
- On the next page, click the Generate New Passphrase button
Once a new passphrase has been generated, the previous passphrase will become invalid and will not be accepted by our support team. Share the new passphrase with individuals that you trust with access to your account’s support.
