How to Set Up a Reseller ID

If you want to resell hosting accounts, you will need to have a reseller ID. Follow the steps below to set one up.

Requirements

In order to set up a reseller account, you need to plan on having at least three hosting accounts. The setup process will vary based on how many accounts you currently have. See below for links to the appropriate setup method.

I Have No Accounts Yet

If you have not yet created any accounts, go to the Pair Networks website and create one account. Once this account has been created, follow the instructions in I Have One Account.

I Have One Account

If you only have one account, you can add new accounts to your current one so that they can be managed in one interface. To do that, complete the steps below:

Step 1: Find Your Account BAN

First, find your account’s Billing Account Number (BAN). You will need this later in the process. To find the BAN:

  1. Log in to your hosting account’s Account Control Center
  2. In the left sidebar, click Billing
  3. In the drop-down, click Billing Summarybilling summary image

Your BAN will be listed at the top of the page, next to Billing Account Number.billing account number image

Either copy or write this number down. You will need this number in the next step.

Step 2: Create New Accounts

Now, you will need to create a new account. To do so, follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to Pair Networks website and select a package type to order
  2. Packages can be ordered by clicking the Sign Up Now buttons on product pages
  3. In the setup process, complete the Hosting Plan stephosting plan image
  4. Once you reach the Billing Information step, click Already Have an Account?already have an account image
  5. Input the BAN you copied/wrote down earlier into the pair.com Username or BAN text fieldban image
  6. Next to pair.com Password, enter the password for the account whose BAN was just enteredpassword image
  7. Click Login
  8. Finish setup

Repeat this process so that you have three accounts in all, including the primary account whose BAN you used.

Step 3: Contact Sales for Reseller Pricing

Pair Networks offers special pricing for resellers. Contact our Sales team to learn more about this offer.

Once you’re all set up, you will need to know how to log in to your reseller account. See our How Do I Log into My Reseller Account? article for more information.

I Have Two or More Accounts

If you already have two or more accounts set up, you will need to contact our Billing Team and ask them to merge the accounts into a reseller account. You will need at least three accounts for merging to occur.

If you need to create another account to reach the minimum, choose a primary account from the two you have, then follow the Step 1 and Step 2 instructions from the I Have One Account section before contacting our Billing Team.
