If you want to get rid of your staging site, you can deactivate it.

Deactivating a staging site does not automatically launch the site. Once deactivated, all data on the staging site will be permanently deleted.

Deactivating Your Staging Site

Choose the tutorial that reflects your ACC interface type:

Not sure what the difference is? See Which ACC Interface Am I Using?

If you are using the Legacy Interface:

  1. Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
  2. Click WordPress in the left sidebar, then click List Sites in the drop-down
  3. Click the Nickname of your site
  4. Click the Staging tab
  5. In the bottom navbar, click the Deactivate Staging button
  6. It will ask you to confirm your deactivation. Click the Deactivate Staging button

If you are using the New ACC Interface:

  1. Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
  2. In the top navigation bar, click WordPress
  3. Find your WordPress site and click its staging icon
  4. Click the Deactivate Staging button
  5. Click the Deactivate Staging button to confirm you want to deactivate the staging site

This will begin the deactivation process. It may take some time for the site to be deactivated, so please be patient. Once the site has been deactivated, it will return you to the staging interface where you can activate a new staging site.
