Intrusion Defense Packages

Intrusion Defense packages are available on:

  • Dedicated
  • WP Enthusiast and WP Professional
  • Podcast Websites

Unfortunately, our intrusion defense packages are not available on: 

  • Weebly Hosting
  • Legacy accounts**

One-Time WordPress Upgrade

Keeping WordPress installations up-to-date is the first step to a secure WordPress website. However, keeping up with WordPress's many updates can take time and effort. 

If your WordPress site needs to catch up on updates, we offer a one-time WordPress upgrade option. 

What’s included: 

  • Core Installation Update
  • Free Plugin and Themes Update**
  • Security Hardening

**Unfortunately, we cannot update licensed plugins and themes. 

To request a one-time WordPress update: 

  1. Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC)
  2. In the left sidebar, click Security
  3. In the drop-down, select Intrusion Defense
  4. Under the WordPress Update heading, toggle on the desired pricing option
  5. Click Submit Request

Once submitted, one of our security experts will reach out to the account's billing contact.  For more information about our security offerings, see our Security page

One-Time Account Cleanup

Is your account infected, but you don’t need the long-term protection of intrusion defense? You can opt for our one-time account cleanup option. Our security professionals will find and destroy the infected files on your account.

To request a one-time account cleanup: 

  1. Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC)
  2. In the left sidebar, click Security
  3. In the drop-down, select Intrusion Defense
  4. Under the One-Time Cleanup heading, toggle on the desired pricing option
  5. Click Submit Request

Automatic Scheduled Intrusion Defense

Protect your websites with a Pair Networks Automatic Intrusion Defense. This security feature comes with: 

  • Daily malware scan (we'll alert you if we find anything!)
  • Unlimited malware cleanups by our very own support team
  • After a cleanup, we store a clean backup of your site on a remote server for 60 days
  • Google blocklist monitoring and removal
  • Intrusion point detection
  • 3 hours or less response time from our security team

Our Intrusion Defense package is a more comprehensive service than our basic malware scanning tool.

How do I request Automatic Scheduled Intrusion Defense on my hosting account?

You can request an Intrusion Defense package on your hosting account directly in the Account Control Center (ACC)

  1. Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC)
  2. In the left sidebar, click Security
  3. In the drop-down, select Enable Intrusion Defense (or Intrusion Defense, if you already have Basic Malware Scanning enabled)
  4. On the next page, toggle on the Intrusion Defense option
  5. Click the Enable Intrusion Defense option

Can resellers also request Intrusion Defense packages?

Yes! Intrusion Defense packages are available for resellers.

However, to enable an Intrusion Defense package, the reseller must first access the resold account through the Reseller Control Center (RCC)

Malware packages are hidden by default on resold account  unless accessed via the RCC.
