WP Professional Plus

In order to use cron on your hosting account, you must first enable crontab.

Crontab is disabled by default. However, if you wish to use cron, you can enable the crontab feature.

By enabling crontab, you will be able to:

  • Create cron jobs via the Account Control Center
  • Create cron jobs via the command line

Enabling Crontab

Cron is only available on:
- Shared
- VPS
- Dedicated
- WP Professional and WP Professional Plus

If you can’t find the Advanced > Manage Cron Jobs tab in the Account Control Center, then you are likely on an account that does not allow cron usage.

  1. Log in to your Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
  2. In the left sidebar, click the Advanced tab
  3. Click the Manage Cron Jobs tab
  4. Next to Enable Cron Jobs, make sure that the button is toggled on

This will enable crontab on your hosting account.

Disabling Crontab

You can disable the cron functionality at any time.

Disabling crontab on your account will also affect cron use via the command line.

  1. Log in to your Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
  2. In the left sidebar, click the Advanced tab
  3. Click the Manage Cron Jobs tab
  4. Next to Enable Cron Jobs, make sure that the button is toggled off

This will disable crontab.
