In order to use cron on your hosting account, you must first enable crontab.
Crontab is disabled by default. However, if you wish to use cron, you can enable the crontab feature.
By enabling crontab, you will be able to:
- Create cron jobs via the Account Control Center
- Create cron jobs via the command line
Enabling Crontab
Choose the tutorial that reflects your ACC interface type:

If you are using the Legacy Interface:
- Log in to your Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
- In the left sidebar, click the Advanced tab
- Click the Manage Cron Jobs tab
- Next to Enable Cron Jobs, make sure that the button is toggled on
If you are using the New ACC Interface:
- Log in to your Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
- In the top navigation bar, click Hosting
- Under the “Site Management” section, click the Manage Cron Jobs button
- Next to Enable Cron Jobs, make sure that the button is toggled on
This will enable crontab on your hosting account.
Disabling Crontab
You can disable the cron functionality at any time.
Choose the tutorial that reflects your ACC interface type:

If you are using the Legacy Interface:
- Log in to your Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
- In the left sidebar, click the Advanced tab
- Click the Manage Cron Jobs tab

This will disable crontab.
