gaccin (www315) encountered an error and was reset. Downtime was less than 10 minutes.

[Feb 10, 2012, 5:27 AM] iota, kfin Maintenance Completed

Tonight's upgrades have been completed. iota (www5) is now a Core 2 E4600 with 3GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive, and kfin (www151) is now a Core 2 E8200 with 3GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. Total downtime for each server was about 5 minutes.

iota (www5) and kfin (www151) will be taken down shortly for chassis and drive upgrades. Total downtime for each server should be 10 minutes or less, and an additional notice will be posted when this has been completed.

[Feb 9, 2012, 5:40 PM] mordo Downtime

mordo (www498) crashed while in service and needed to be reset. Downtime was about 20 minutes.

[Feb 9, 2012, 5:06 PM] wuccn Downtime

wuccn (www505) became unresponsive and needed to be reset. Downtime was less than ten minutes.

[Feb 9, 2012, 5:57 AM] iota, egon Maintenance Completed

Tonight's upgrades have been completed. egon (www410) is now a Core 2 6400 with 3GB of RAM. The upgrade for iota (www5) has been temporarily postponed until a later time. Total downtime for egon was about 5 minutes.

[Feb 9, 2012, 3:32 AM] iota, egon Planned Maintenance

iota (www5) will be taken down shortly for a chassis and drive upgrade, and egon (www410) will be taken down for a chassis upgrade. Total downtime for each server should be 10 minutes or less, and an additional notice will be posted when this has been completed.

[Feb 8, 2012, 3:11 PM] mail1.g1.pair.com Maintenance Completed

Maintenance on mail1.g1.pair.com has been completed, and all mail services have been restored. Downtime was less than 5 minutes.

[Feb 8, 2012, 3:03 PM] mail1.g1.pair.com Emergency Maintenance

All mail services on mail1.g1.pair.com will be interrupted for approximately 15 minutes while emergency maintenance is performed on the server.

pi (www10) became unresponsive while in service and was reset. Downtime was less then 10 minutes.

[Feb 8, 2012, 9:56 AM] www#.g1 Service Slowdown

The file server that serves files for the wwwX.g1 servers is currently undergoing unscheduled maintenance and service to those machines is currently degraded. We will post more information as it becomes available.

[Feb 6, 2012, 11:29 PM] mhoh, hyaku Maintenance Completed

The drive swaps on mhoh (www191) and hyaku (www345) have been completed. Each server now has a new 500GB hard drive. Total downtime for each server was less than 10 minutes.

mhoh (www191) and hyaku (www345) will be taken down shortly to swap failing hard drives. Total downtime for each server should be 10 minutes or less, and an additional notice will be posted when this has been completed.

The drive swap on kakkoii (www330) has been completed. It now has a new 320GB ShadowDrive. Total downtime was less than 5 minutes.

kakkoii (www330) will be taken down shortly to swap a failing ShadowDrive. Total downtime should be 10 minutes or less, and an additional notice will be posted when this has been completed.

[Feb 2, 2012, 8:30 PM] www3.g1 Service Restored

All services on www3.g1 were restored at approximately 8:10 PM Eastern. We will continue to evaluate the cause of this outage in order to take all necessary steps to help prevent a similar occurrence in the future. We apologize for the inconvenience.

[Feb 2, 2012, 7:05 PM] www3.g1 Downtime

www3.g1 is currently unable to serve Web pages due to a storage filesystem issue we are currently working with our vendor to resolve. Mail service is still available for customers on this server. We apologize for the inconvenience and will update with more information as it is available.

midori (www492) crashed under high load and was restarted. Downtime was 20 minutes.

eeoth(www95) experienced an error and was reset. Downtime was about five minutes.

eeoth (www85) crashed while in service and needed to be reset. Downtime was under ten minutes.

eeoth (www85) became unresponsive and was reset. Downtime was about 10 minutes.

[Jan 31, 2012, 5:16 AM] sasi Maintenance Completed

The drive swap on sasi (www207) has been completed. It was given a new 500GB ShadowDrive. Total downtime was about 5 minutes.
