The Basics - Existing Domain Information

Determine Which Registrar Handles Your Domain Names

To update your domain name information to point to your Pair Networks account, you will need to modify it at your domain name registrar. The registrar was selected when you originally registered the domain name. You can do a Whois search to determine who your registrar is.

Update the Name Server Information

Once you know which registrar to contact for each of your domain names, go to their Web site to update your name servers to the ones given in your Welcome Message. If you have additional questions about how to update your name servers, please contact your registrar.

Keep in mind that it can take days, if not weeks, for registrars to complete name server updates. We recommend waiting to cancel your services at a former provider until name server updates have been completed. This reduces the risk of down-time associated with your Web site or e-mail.
