See<a href=\"http:\/\/pair.com\/support\/kb\/which-acc-interface-am-i-using\/\"> Which ACC Interface Am I Using?&nbsp;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you are using the Legacy Interface:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Log in to the<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/my.pair.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Account Control Center (ACC)<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the left sidebar, click <\/span><b>Security<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, then click <strong>Intrusion Defense<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Intrusion Defense package you want:\n<ul>\n<li>Basic Malware Scanning: no additional charge; up to 10000 eligible files scanned each week<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intrusion Defense: a premium security package with malware scanning, unlimited malware cleanups, white glove WordPress hardening, and more! Find more information here:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pair.com\/support\/kb\/paid-malware-packages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Intrusion Defense FAQ<\/a> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the <\/span><b>Enable Intrusion Defense<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> button<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you are using the New ACC Interface:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC) at <a href=\"https:\/\/my.pair.com\/\">my.pair.com<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the top navigation bar, click <strong>Hosting<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Enable Intrusion Defense<\/strong> button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the \u201cEnable FREE Automatic Scheduled Intrusion Defense\u201d section, choose your Intrusion Defense option<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Enable Intrusion Defense<\/strong> button<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once enabled, your server will be assigned a day of the week to scan. Every week on that day, your Web directory will be scanned for malware. You can see your designated malware scanning day on the Malware Scanning page.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each scan will go through 10000 files. If you Web directory contains more than 10000 files, then the rest of the files will be checked in the following scans.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Certain files, like <em>.zip<\/em> or .<em>gzip<\/em>, may be skipped because they are large and severely slow down the scanning process.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To see scan results, return to the <strong>Security <\/strong>tab, then click <b>Intrusion Defense <\/b><\/span>in the drop-down<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Results from each scan will be listed there, as well as any infected files found.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you find you have malware, you can either contact us to clean your server for you or attempt to remove the malware manually.
