Have you ever wanted to hide a post on your WordPress site without deleting it? Well, you can do that and more by editing your post\u2019s visibility settings. See the steps below to see how.<\/span><\/p>\n \t\t

\r\n \t\t\t\t\tMake sure you are using the <\/span>Gutenberg Block editor<\/span><\/a>. If you upgraded to <\/span>WordPress 5<\/span><\/a>, then your post and page editor will default to use the Gutenberg editor. If you are still using WordPress 4 (or earlier) or have the <\/span>Classic Editor<\/span><\/a> installed, then your editor will not work with this tutorial.<\/span> \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t\n

How to Change Your WordPress Post Visibility<\/b><\/h3>\n

  1. Open the post editor<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. In the left sidebar, click <\/span>Document\"document<\/a><\/b><\/li>\n
  3. In the left sidebar, there is a <\/span>Visibility<\/b> section. Click the visibility option link\"public<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. A drop-down will appear underneath with the following options:\"drop-down<\/a>
    \n<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
    Public<\/b><\/td>\nYour post can be viewed by anyone who visits your site.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Password Protected<\/b><\/td>\nYour post can only be viewed by those who know the post\u2019s password. When this option is selected, a box will appear where you can input the post\u2019s password.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Private<\/b><\/td>\nOnly site administrators will be able to see your post.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/li>\n
  5. Once you have changed the selection, the post will update to that visibility option<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once updated, your post will immediately adopt the visibility changes. However, keep in mind that the visibility will only affect the post once it has been published. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
