Dedicated<\/p><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dedicated and VPS hosting accounts have more control over their mailboxes than Shared hosting accounts. They both have extra mailbox settings that can be configured in the Account Control Center (ACC)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main Account Mailbox Settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dedicated and VPS accounts come with a default email address. This email address will be the main mailbox for the account. You can see the main mailbox and edit settings in the Main Mailbox Settings interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finding the Main Mailbox Settings Interface<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This process may vary based on the interface you are using. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are using the Legacy interface: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to your Dedicated or VPS account at my.pair.com<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. In the left sidebar, click E-Mail,<\/strong> then click Manage Main Account Mailbox Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If you are using the Updated interface:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Log in to your Dedicated or VPS account at my.pair.com<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. In the top navigation bar, click Email<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Under username@pair.com Delivery<\/strong>, click the \u201cEmail will be stored in your Main Account Mailbox\u201d link<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      This will take you to the Main Mailbox Settings interface. The main mailbox address will be listed on this page, as well as the username and password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Email Delivery Instructions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      You can change the delivery settings for the main mailbox in the \u201cEmail Delivery Instructions\u201d section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      You can select any of the following sections to change the delivery instructions. The options are listed below with descriptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Store Email addressed to [email] in the Main Account Mailbox<\/strong><\/td>The emails sent to the main account address will be sent to the account\u2019s mailbox. This is the default.<\/td><\/tr>
      Discard Email addressed to [email]<\/strong><\/td>All emails sent to the main account address will immediately be discarded.<\/td><\/tr>
      Store Email in this File:<\/strong><\/td>You can enter a folder name into the text field and emails sent to the main account address will be stored in that folder.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      To save any changes, click the Commit Changes<\/strong> button at the bottom of the page.

      Junk Email Filtering<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      You can set junk mail filtering settings for the main account mailbox in the \u201cJunk Email Filtering\u201d section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In this section, you can enable or disable junk mail filtering by toggling the option next to Enable Junk Email Filtering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      You can also indicate where you want the junk mail to be stored by inputting a folder name into the text field next to Save Junk Email in this file. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To save any changes made on this page, click the Commit Changes <\/strong>button at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Global Email Delivery Settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      These email delivery settings apply to all email messages addressed to domains on your account that are not handled by a more specific email Recipe or a Mailbox. Recipes and Mailboxes that apply to one or all usernames in a domain will take precedence over these delivery settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Changing the Global settings will make changes to ALL<\/strong> mailboxes on the account. If you only want to change a few, we recommend making changes to each mailbox individually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Email Delivery Instructions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          You can change the delivery instructions for all mailboxes by selecting one of the options in the \u201cEmail Delivery Instructions\u201d section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The options are listed below with descriptions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Discard Email<\/strong><\/td>All emails sent to mailboxes on this account will immediately be discarded.<\/td><\/tr>
          Store Email in the mailbox<\/strong><\/td>All emails will be delivered to the mailbox they were sent to (unless recipes have been configured on the mailbox). This is the default<\/td><\/tr>
          Store Email in this File:<\/strong><\/td>You can enter a folder name into the text field and emails sent mailboxes configured on this account will be stored in that folder.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

          Changing the email delivery instructions will affect all mailboxes configured on the account. To save any changes, click the Commit Changes <\/strong>button at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Junk Email Filtering<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
