Determine Which Registrar Handles Your Domain Names<\/h3>\n

To update your domain name information to point to your Pair Networks account, you will need to modify it at your current domain name registrar. If you do not remember whom you chose as your domain name registrar, you can do a Whois\u00a0search<\/a> to determine whom your registrar is.<\/p>\n

Update the Name Server Information<\/h3>\n

Once you know which registrar to contact for each of your domain names, go\u00a0to their website to update your name servers to the ones given in your\u00a0Welcome Message. If you have additional questions about how to update your\u00a0name servers, please contact your registrar.<\/p>\n

Your registrar can update the name servers within a few hours. However, some Internet Service Providers (ISPs)\u00a0can take several days to pick up the updates. We recommend waiting to cancel your services at a former provider\u00a0until name server updates have been completed. This reduces the risk of downtime associated with your website or\u00a0email.<\/p>\n

Pair Domains' Domain Names<\/h3>\n

If your registrar is Pair Domains<\/a>, then\u00a0updating your name server information is very easy. Simply follow these\u00a0steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Login to the Domain Name Management System<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Click Manage Domain Names<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Click the domain name you want to update<\/li>\n
  4. Enter the new name server names - the IP addresses are not needed<\/li>\n
  5. Click Modify<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
