{"id":133,"date":"2016-01-12T15:41:33","date_gmt":"2016-01-12T15:41:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp-p3d2tsa2xh.pairsite.com\/?p=133"},"modified":"2026-07-09T13:52:33","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T17:52:33","slug":"billing-frequently-asked-questions-payments","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/www.pair.com\/support\/kb\/billing-frequently-asked-questions-payments\/","title":{"rendered":"FAQ &#8211; Payments"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This article answers commonly asked questions about Pair Networks payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-accordion wp-block-hb-accordion\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>What payment methods are&nbsp;accepted?<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">We accept PayPal payments, Discover,&nbsp;Mastercard, Visa or American Express.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>How do I pay by credit&nbsp;card?<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">Credit card payments for existing accounts can be made online through the secure&nbsp;<strong>Billing<\/strong> interface within the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/support\/knowledge_base\/about_your_account\/the_account_control_center.html\">Account Control Center<\/a>. This secure interface is&nbsp;protected by SSL. Simply go to&nbsp;<strong>Update Credit Card&nbsp;<\/strong>and input your credit card information. This credit card will be used for future payments.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>How do I use PayPal to pay?<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">Paypal can be used by US and Canadian customers only through the Account Control Center (ACC). If you click&nbsp;<strong>Make a Payment&nbsp;<\/strong>in your ACC, you can select&nbsp;<strong>PayPal<\/strong>&nbsp;as the payment method.<br><br>We also allow international customers to use&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:paypal@pairnetworks.com\">paypal@pairnetworks.com<\/a>&nbsp;to send payment, but we ask that they include the BAN with the payment and let us know when it has been sent so that we know to expect it.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>When is my credit card&nbsp;charged?<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">Credit cards are charged just before statements are sent out. The results of the charge are included directly in the statement.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>What should I do if my&nbsp;credit card was charged the wrong amount?<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">We are happy to post refunds and adjustments to cards that we have processed. It works best for everyone involved if you contact us and allow us to make the adjustment, before disputing the charges with your bank. Disputing the charges typically takes two to six weeks and creates unnecessary delays and confusion, whereas a posted refund is immediate. <br><br>Please note that if you dispute a transaction, any chargeback fees resulting from the dispute will be applied to your account. Chargeback fees vary depending on the disputed transaction. <br><br>Please note also that upon receiving a chargeback notice, we reserve the right to suspend services while we investigate the cause, as chargebacks often arise from fraudulent credit card usage, which is a very serious matter.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>What should I do if my&nbsp;credit card is lost or stolen?<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">Report it to your bank, of course, but also let us know by removing or changing the card information via the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/support\/knowledge_base\/about_your_account\/the_account_control_center.html\">Account Control Center.<\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>How can I update credit&nbsp;card information that is on file?<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">New credit card information can be submitted through the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/support\/knowledge_base\/about_your_account\/the_account_control_center.html\">Account Control Center billing&nbsp;interface<\/a>. Under the&nbsp;<strong>Billing&nbsp;<\/strong>section, select&nbsp;<strong>Update Credit Card<\/strong>&nbsp;and input your new credit card information into the interface. Your new credit card information will be added&nbsp;on file.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>How can I pay by credit card one time only, rather than keeping my card on file to be charged automatically?<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">Choose the tutorial that reflects your ACC interface type:&nbsp;<br>  - Legacy Interface<br>  - New ACC Interface<br>Not sure what the difference is? The further past due you are, the more likely that this will happen.<br><br>You are responsible for ensuring that we have a current and working e-mail address for you, to which your bills and other notices are sent! Note that for most customers, statements will automatically go to the main mailbox of your account here. You should either have that mail forwarded to another account or read it regularly.
