Learn how to create a database in the ACC:
Hi. Sean here, and I’m going to explain how to create a database.
So once you’re logged into the Account Control Center, on the left side of the screen, about halfway down the sub-menu on the left side of the screen here, is Databases. Click on that and then select Create New Database.
You’re given the option of naming it and then selecting the access level, which you have local only or local and remote. In most cases when you’re just working with the database for a website hosted here, local only will work.
Optimization Period could be monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly. I’ll make that weekly, and then we click Add Database. And the next screen you see is all the details about your database: the name, the server that is hosted on, the full access user name, and that password along with the read/write username and password, and the read-only username and password.
