Support Technicians

Essential Duties Include:

  • Answer customer support inquiries and requests
  • Troubleshoot customer problems
  • Monitor server stability
  • Perform routine system tasks
  • Process automated requests
  • Work on customer support team related projects
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or other experience in a related discipline
  • Experience with Unix
  • Clear understanding of the World Wide Web and Web Hosting
  • Strong familiarity with the Internet
  • Positive and courteous customer service attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Fluent use of e-mail
  • Meticulous attention to detail

Content Writer

The Content Writer is an entry-level junior writing position. The Content Writer will work under the direct and regular supervision of the Marketing Director. The Content Writer must be able to consistently meet deadlines and complete assignments according to specification.

The Content Writer is responsible for developing and maintaining website copy, customer outreach text, in-product text (e.g. menu wording, help files, and error messages), and technical communication documents.

The Content Writer is an ideal position for candidates looking to gain experience and training in the field, and looking to build upon a proven record of completing assignments according to specification and meeting project deadlines.

Essential Duties Include:
  • Create advertising and marketing copy
  • Create product text and website copy
  • Create internal and external technical documents
  • Maintain existing internal and external technical documents, e-mail templates, marketing and website copy
  • Consult with subject matter experts (SMEs) to complete texts
  • Complete various projects, assignments, and research as directed by the Marketing Director
  • Regularly audit existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance
Experience Required:
  • Strong record of meeting deadlines and completing assignments to specification
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Flexibility regarding the distribution and nature of duties — writing assignments may vary considerably as company needs change
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Associate's Degree and/or experience in a related discipline
  • 0-3 years experience in the writing field
  • Other, structured job experience a plus
  • Familiarity with the Web hosting and domain name registration industry
  • Technical skills, including an understanding of UNIX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX are a plus
  • Knowledge of general business concepts

Essential Duties Include:

  • Handle inside sales and customer service inquiries via e-mail, phone, and fax
  • Actively pursue sales opportunities and channels
  • Track and follow up on active sales leads
  • Process payments, refunds, and mitigating fraudulent transactions
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or other high-level experience in a related discipline
  • 2+ years experience in Sales-related experience preferred
