The pairList® mailing list service offers a viable option for sending e-mail to a number of subscribers. pairList® can be used for small lists on a specific topic, or as a large announcement list to inform customers of upcoming events. A powerful Web interface allows for easy customization and quick management of any list.

Mailing lists work by taking one mail message and sending it to a specified list of mail addresses. A subscriber sends e-mail to the mailing list address. This allows for one address to be used, instead of the multiple address the mail will need to go to. Once the mail is sent to the mailing list, the mailing list software determines what addresses should receive the mail and sends a copy of the message to each address.

pairList® employs the open source software Mailman as its software solution. This allows for great flexibility and a wide range of features. After evaluating many alternatives, we are presently committed to continuing our use of Mailman indefinitely.

pairList® services are included with our Web hosting accounts; pricing will soon be announced for high-volume usage and other special cases. During the current testing phase, we request that subscriber lists be kept below 1,000 entries.
